Sheffield Tigers Speedway team race at Owlerton Stadium which was built in 1929 and is the fastest track in British speedway. It also hosts greyhound racing as well as stock car racing. The team race in the British Premier League and traditionally hold their race nights on Thursdays during the racing season.
You can get close up and personal to the teams preparing their bikes and speak with the riders who are more than willing to share their knowledge and insights. There is a great atmosphere where you can see, hear, and smell the bikes in action and even feel bits of the track gravel as the riders powerslide around the bends.
